Grizzly Bear There are currently about 60,000 wild grizzly bears currently located throughout North America. 20 to 25 years is a normal lifespan but they have reached thirty years in the wild. Normally a solitary active animal, in coastal areas the grizzly congregates alongside streams and rivers during the salmon spawn. Every other year females produce 1 to 4 young which are small and weigh only about one pound. Mothers are very protective of their offspring.
The grizzly has a large hump over the shoulders which is a muscle mass used to power the forelimbs in digging. The head is large and round with a concave facial profile. In spite of their massive size, these bears can run at speeds of up to thirty-five miles per hour.

Harry Houdini For many years, he was the highest-paid performer in American vaudeville. One of Houdini's most notable non-escape stage illusions was performed at New York's Hippodrome Theater when he vanished a full-grown elephant (with its trainer) from a stage, beneath which was a swimming pool. Magician, escapologist (widely regarded as one of the greatest ever), stunt performer, Houdini died of peritonitis from a ruptured appendix at 1:26 p.m. on October 31 (Halloween) in Room 401, 1926, at the age of 52.

Nikola Tesla Tesla is best known for his many revolutionary contributions to the discipline of electricity and magnetism in the late 19th and early 20th century. Mermaids, Humaniods of the Ocean A legendary aquatic creature with the head and torso of human female and the tail of a fish. Legends of these half-human, half-fish humanoids have circulated for millennia, even as far back as 5000 BCE. Jacqueline Kennedy Jacqueline Lee Bouvier Kennedy Onassis (July 28, 1929 – May 19, 1994) was the wife of John F. Kennedy from 1953 to 1963 and was known as Jacqueline Kennedy or Jackie Kennedy. She served as First Lady of the United States from 1961 until her husband's assassination in 1963.
